  1. I’m reading “girly” books this week. They’ve been recommended as possible Bible studies for the ladies at church so “for the sake of research,” I’m reading Captivating, by John & Staci Eldridge, and Yada Yada Prayer Group by Neta Jackson. And enjoying them both immensely.

Your highly intellectual books compared to mine make me feel like college-grad level vs. 2nd grade reading. πŸ™‚

  2. Don’t be silly! Carly and I have Captivating on our bookshelf, too.

And I really think you’d enjoy Life With God — Foster is a very friendly and inviting writer.

  3. Now who’s being silly? I already enjoy Life with God!! πŸ™‚
(Oh, I’m the one being silly again.)

  4. ooh! look who is showing off with their flashy HTML skills!

    I can do it too!

Too bad those are the only two I know by heart.

  5. I’ve not read any of yours … but I’m adding them to my list. πŸ™‚

  6. Spook Country isn’t Gibson’s best work — you might pick up Neuromancer and Mona Lisa Overdrive. Both older, but still crackle. After those, maybe try Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson. For that matter, try Snow Crash even if you DON’T try any of the others. It is fascinating fiction.

If Gibson didn’t INVENT the cyberpunk branch of sci-fi, he’s at least its favorite son.
