Prayer for Repentance

Dear Lord, I am so sorry that I am not the creation you intended me to be. My sins disgust me in the light of your love, yet I keep returning to them. Please forgive me, Father. Please accept my prayers. Do not forsake me, I beg you, Lord. I know I have no right to ask anything of you. I am a sinner. My sins nailed you to the cross. I do not want to keep sinking the nails. I promise to do my best, Lord. I want to preach your Word. I want to be your good and faithful servant. Please find a way to accomplish your will in my life. Do not abandon me in my unworthiness. I love you, Lord, and I will keep getting up and telling you how much I love you. Amen.

  1. That is a beautiful prayer, Nick, and one that I will pray with you.
